Making course materials accessible to all students
All students, including those with disabilities, require their course materials prior to the start of semester to enable preparation for study and optimise the time available for learning. The University also has a legal obligation under the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) to provide course materials in an accessible format, on time for students with disabilities.
Student Services provides a fact sheet, that includes a checklist, on Making Course Materials Accessible to All [PDF].
Visit the UTAS Accessibility website for more information on making websites and online materials accessible.
