Advances in technology are providing UTAS staff with ever-expanding options for technology-mediated teaching & learning. This area of the website provides information, advice and resources that cover the use of technology to support and enhance teaching & learning.
Technology available at UTAS:
- MyLO – My Learning Online - UTAS's centrally-supported online learning management system, using WebCT/BlackBoard Vista
- Videoconferencing – with focus on the centrally-supported facilities through Information Technology Resources (ITR)
- Lectopia - System to record lectures and other teaching sessions and make them available to students, also used as a streaming media system for all types of audio and video files
- Impatica - an add-in for PowerPoint that allows the creation of efficient narrated slide shows
