Videoconference training
Policy and standards
Academic Senate, at its May 2003 meeting, endorsed a draft policy and associated a set of standards regarding appropriate staff training and skills capabilities for those engaged in videoconference teaching. It sets out:
- Minimum training requirements and skills capabilities for teaching staff wishing to use the University's centrally provided videoconference facilities through IT Resources.
- Further training and standards for full capability.
See Policy and Standards on Videoconference Training for Teaching Staff [PDF] for details.
Training
The University's training course, Effective Videoconference Teaching, has been designed to meet the standards set by the Policy. Training sessions are available on request – contact training@calt.utas.edu.au.
