What is MyLO?
MyLO (My Learning Online) is the online learning environment at the University of Tasmania. It uses the Desire2Learn Learning Suite.
MyLO is an important resource and learning tool for students. Appropriate use of MyLO by teachers keeps students informed about what is required of them, helps students to remain organised and can also provide some flexibility in the way they achieve required learning outcomes.
For teachers MyLO can facilitate communication with students with diverse needs, provide opportunities to present interactive content, to receive, mark and return student assignments with feedback, to engage students in discussions to enhance critical thinking skills as well as for many other purposes.
